About Tolu

I provide compassionate, trauma-informed, and client-centered counselling to individuals, couples, and families navigating a range of emotional and relational challenges. My practice is grounded in the belief that healing is possible and that each person has the capacity for growth, resilience, and meaningful change.

I offer a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. I work collaboratively with clients to identify their needs, clarify goals, and develop practical strategies that support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and overall well-being.

My approach is integrative and tailored to each individual, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-based approaches, and somatic and mindfulness-based interventions. I also incorporate parts work, body awareness, and strengths-based techniques to support holistic healing across mind, body, and emotions.

I support kids, pre-teens, youth, and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and emotional regulation. My work emphasizes stabilization, resilience-building, and fostering a deeper connection to self.

I am committed to culturally responsive and ethically grounded practice, honoring each client’s unique background, values, and lived experience. For clients who desire it, I also offer faith-integrated counselling in a respectful and supportive manner.

For clients who desire it, I offer faith-integrated counselling that gently incorporates spiritual perspectives into the therapeutic process. This may include exploring the role of faith in coping, meaning-making, identity, and healing, always guided by the client’s beliefs and preferences. My approach to faith-based counselling is respectful, non-imposing, and supportive of each client’s personal spiritual journey.

My goal is to walk alongside clients in their healing journey, supporting them in developing insight, strengthening coping skills, and moving toward a more balanced, empowered, and fulfilling life.
