Clinical assessment of the comprehensive mental health needs of persons dealing with complex issues; provide advanced clinical interventions to persons through a broad range of therapeutic frameworks; research, analyze, design and develop and implement therapy frameworks to address the specific identified mental health needs of the population served; provide education sessions and consultation; provide consultation on cultural and clinical interventions; and crisis response when communities are impacted by critical events.

Who are we? Gitanmaax Health and Wellness – Mobile Support Team

Gitanmaax Health and Wellness, in partnership with the First Nations Health Authority, is hiring for its Mobile Support Team. The team focuses on providing on-site, community-based mental health and substance use support. Composed of clinicians, nurses, and peers, the team offers crisis intervention, harm reduction, and referrals for urgent needs, often in partnership with police or as a community-led alternative to improve safety and stability. The team services the communities of Anspayaxw, Sik-E-Dakh, Gitanmaax, Hagwilget, Witset, Gitsegukla, Gitwangak, and Gitanyow.
