About Adrienne

Camas Mental Health offers therapy services with a specialization in supporting reproductive mental health and wellbeing across the lifespan through individual, couples, and group counselling. Groups are offered on a pay what you can basis. Adrienne Moya, owner of Camas Mental Health, is a Registered Social Worker and Registered Clinical Counsellor. She is an experienced mental health professional with diverse practice experience in both community settings and healthcare. Adrienne has spent her career dedicated to supporting clients’ reproductive and sexual health and wellbeing. She has worked with youth, women, moms/parents, the 2SLGBTQ community, BIPOC, and many diverse communities while working in the Metro Vancouver area for the past 10+ years.

Adrienne brings a biopsychosocial-spiritual lens to her practice, and gets curious about the individual strengths, experiences and needs of each client she meets. She brings a compassionate presence to her work with clients and a strong spirit of collaboration and creativity to the therapeutic process. She strives to create an environment in which clients can be real, explore their needs, set goals, and plant the seeds for healing and growth.

Camas Mental Health supports clients around a wide range of concerns including:

Adrienne’s counselling approach is informed by an intersectional and feminist person-centered framework, trauma-informed practice, anti-oppressive theory and practice, queer, and anti-racist theories, and a strong orientation to social justice.

Adrienne offers a free 15-minute consultation to discuss what support you are looking for and answer any questions you have. It can be hard to take the first step in seeking support, especially if you’ve never seen a counselling professional before. Adrienne will be more than happy to walk you through the counselling process, what to expect, and how to get the most out of counselling.
