About Amanda
I have supported marginalized populations throughout my career and my practice is focused on supporting neurodivergent folks and helping them navigate neurodivergent ways of being in a neuronormative world.
I draw inspiration from a range of evidence-based approaches in my practice and adapt sessions to meet the specific needs and situation of each client. I believe that growth and healing is a lifelong journey that is shaped by one’s identities, values and circumstances. As a proponent of social justice, I am committed to maintaining a practice that celebrates differences, cultivates curiosity, values intersectionality, and empowers advocacy.
Whether you are facing a new challenge or have been coping with something longstanding, I look forward to working alongside you to deepen your understanding of yourself and the challenges you face, expand your self-awareness and perspectives, and create meaningful change in your relationship with your circumstances.
Finding the right counsellor can make a world of difference. I offer free consultation to help you get a sense of how I work and see if I am a fit for what you are looking for.
