About Brandi

Brandi has a B.Ed and M.A. in Counselling Psychology, is an RCC, and is a middle school counsellor as well as a special education teacher in Squamish, B.C. Brandi has over 20 years experience working with vulnerable youth and adolescents, namely, those with autism, ADHD, ODD, FASD, and other behavioural issues. Brandi works with adult clients and couples to explore their core beliefs and values. Through the journey of life, our experiences shape how we think and behave. Often we need to explore the nature of these processes through psychodynamic theory. Interventions such as, cognitive-behavioural therapy, somatic therapy, and personality theory, and understanding neuroscience can be helpful for clients to make sense of their past and present experiences and find new ways of coping with stress and anxiety, while building confidence and self-worth.
Brandi sees clients in person as well as offers safe, secure online counselling via Zoom, email, or phone call.
