About Brooke

Welcome!
As a trauma-informed therapist, I offer a warm, compassionate space where all parts of you are welcome. My approach is grounded in an understanding that trauma doesn’t just live in our thoughts, it lives in our bodies, our relationships, and our nervous system. I work with individuals who are seeking a deeper sense of safety, connection, and wholeness, especially those navigating the impacts of complex trauma, childhood wounding, and relational harm.

My personal journey into this work is deeply rooted in my own lived experience. Growing up in harmful environments and living with ADHD and anxiety, I learned early on what it means to move through the world in survival mode, always trying to make sense of big emotions, sensitive responses, and nervous system overwhelm. These early experiences have given me a deep empathy for those who feel like they’ve had to hold everything together on their own. I know how hard it can be to feel safe enough to soften, to trust, or to feel at home in your body.

In our sessions, I bring a gentle and collaborative presence. I honour your pace and your story, and I center safety and connection in everything we do. I work from a nervous system based lens, and I am a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a powerful, yet insightful and incredibly effective, evidence-based approach for processing trauma and helping the body release what it no longer needs to hold.

My practice weaves together evidence-based tools with relational, somatic, and attachment-focused frameworks. Together, we explore not just what’s painful, but also what is possible- building capacity for regulation, resilience, and a more compassionate relationship within yourself.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure where to begin, know that you don’t have to navigate it alone. Healing is not a linear path, but with care, presense, and support, it’s absolutely possible. I’m here to walk beside you.

Please reach out if you feel we could be a good fit. I offer a free 15- or 30-minute consultation before we book an appointment if you wish. Your consent, internal power, and healing is important to me, and I will honour your autonomy and your right to choice and freedom.
