About Carolyn
Carolyn is a clinical counsellor with a Masters in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelors in Social Work. The combination of these two practices gives her a unique perspective on the gifts and challenges of living and working within family and community systems.
Carolyn works with children, youth, individuals, and families.
Some of the areas Carolyn’s practice covers include anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma, and ASD. Carolyn also works with individuals who are dealing with interpersonal challenges ranging from parenting, to conflict management, communication and attachment based relational issues.
She practices from a strength based perspective drawing from client resiliencies.
Carolyn favors a mindfulness based approach and utilizes CBT and narrative therapy. She is approved with CVAP, ICBC, First Nations Health Authority, Jordan’s Principle, Heritage Online School, Self-design and the Autism Funding Unit.
