About Dallas
I am a mom, partner, sister, daughter, aunt, friend, a Registered Clinical Counsellor through the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and a BC Registered Play Therapist through the BC Play Therapy Association. I help to support children and youth through online counselling, family support and caregiver support. Since 2004, I have been dedicated to learning about and working in the helping field and I have been focused on helping to support children and families experiencing grief and loss. Most of my work experience has been with hospice societies.
Grief is profound and may impact so many parts of our lives. My goal is to provide a safe space to process thoughts and feelings about grief, loss, anger, shame, love, frustration, joy, or any feeling you can think of. We will work together to find healthy ways to express those feelings. For children and youth, I have set up an interactive virtual space where there can use expressive activities such as storytelling and art to express how they doing. It is a way to tap into what is going on for us and process those feelings in a safer more indirect way. Some adults have expressed finding these tools helpful as well 🙂
