About Elizabeth

Elizabeth is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 10 years combined education and experience helping people to live healthy, fulfilling lives. She helps many people reach their personal and professional life goals through compassionate client-centred support. Elizabeth values encouragement, patience, openness, and confidentiality when counselling clients.

Elizabeth uses a trauma informed approach with her clients to create a safe space to explore life experiences, previous coping skills, family history, current support systems, and personal values. This exploration creates the path for clients to move towards desired life changes.

Elizabeth is trained in Emotion Focused Couples Therapy and is Certified in Levels 1 & 2 of Gottman Marriage Therapy. Elizabeth supports couples to improve their communication with each other, deescalate and change unhelpful conflict cycles, and enhance feelings of security and connection.

Elizabeth is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and is dedicated to providing the highest standards of ethical and professional counselling services. When not at Peak Resilience, Elizabeth works to support Medical Residents at the UBC Faculty of Medicine and specializes in Physician Health.
