About Eric

Eric Williams holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor. He completed his residency with a health/medical emphasis at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s, NL before returning home to Victoria where he was born and raised.

For more than 14 years Eric has provided mental health supports in a variety of settings including community outreach, hospitals, university counselling departments, and private practice.

Helping others find their best path when facing difficulty is something Eric has always found rewarding. He is continually inspired by the strengths each individual brings to their journey and is aware that change can be hard. Eric always makes an effort to better understand how a person’s wellness can be supported in its entirety – the mind and body connect, and support for both is key.

Throughout all of his professional experiences Eric has learned the importance of intention, kindness, and respect. Life is often more difficult than it is easy. Wherever you are, Eric will join you there with competence and caring as you seek your definition of wellness.
