About Erin

Erin works with clients toward their own insight, growth and development in areas such as anxiety, depression, grief & loss, life transitions, self-worth, trauma, life purpose and balance. In working with youth and adult clients, Erin embraces the Adlerian concepts of valuing uniqueness of individuals, encouragement, and early life experiences, while believing what Alfred Adler said, everything can also be different. Believing in peoples’ ability to make what they feel are positive changes for their lives, she uses an Adlerian approach as her psychotherapeutic foundation, which offers a holistic consideration of life in valuing the work, social, intimacy, self and spiritual aspects of our being human. She also specializes in EMDR as a certified practitioner with EMDRIA, and works extensively with this modality with clients. Other other therapeutic modalities that may be touched on include, narrative, mindfulness, body based work around regulation, and cognitive-behavioural methods.

Reflecting her passion for education and therapist development, Erin also offers clinical supervision to therapists.
