About Farah

I am humbled by the resiliency of the human spirit. It takes strength and courage to be vulnerable. I practice counselling with a non-judgemental approach, creating a warm, open, and safe environment for clients. I believe that each individual is on their unique healing journey, and I want to honour that experience in a collaborative way. I want to help you find a meaningful, fulfilling life by finding your purpose. I have a fierce social justice lens, believing that there is a place for all individuals who face barriers of gender, race, religion, disabilities, sexual orientation, and gender expression.

I work with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and trauma, as well as those searching for meaning in their work, who are exploring career transitions. My passion is helping people develop appropriate strategies and coping mechanisms to realize their power and potential, both personally and professionally.

If you are struggling in your personal or professional relationships, including family conflict, difficulties at work, heartbreak in your friendships or in other relationships, let’s explore your feelings and thoughts about what you are going through. If you have experienced a troubling event, want to work on your career or resolve a workplace issue, or if you live with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or loss, we will use my mix of treatment modalities to focus on solutions and help you to get to the heart of what’s going on. Together we will develop strategies to help you feel better.
