About FATEMEH SADAT

Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure how to move forward—either for yourself, your child, or your family? You don’t have to figure it out alone. I provide compassionate, evidence-based counselling to support individuals, children, adolescents, and families through emotional, relational, and life-transition challenges.

My name is Fatemehsadat Poorrezvanrooh, and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and a member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and bring over 16 years of clinical experience supporting individuals and families.

My background includes extensive experience working within multidisciplinary mental health and healthcare settings, including close collaboration with psychiatrists and clinical teams. My counselling style is integrative and client-centred, grounded in evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, attachment-based, and emotion-focused therapies—always tailored to your goals, needs, and pace.

Sessions are collaborative, respectful, and paced according to each client’s emotional readiness. Many people seek support when they are experiencing:

• Anxiety, stress, panic, or emotional overwhelm
• Low mood, burnout, or ongoing worry
• Parenting challenges, family conflict, or relationship strain
• Emotional regulation difficulties in children or adolescents
• Life transitions, identity concerns, or major changes
• Immigration-related stress, cultural adjustment, or feeling “in-between”
• Addiction recovery, behavioural concerns, or rebuilding stability

I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change—whether your goals are clarity, emotional balance, healthier relationships, or improved coping skills.

Reaching out can be a meaningful first step toward feeling supported, less alone, and more confident about what comes next.
