About Harp

“Life has many ways of testing a person’s will, either by having nothing happen at all or by having everything happen all at once.? ? Paulo Coelho. We have the ability as humans to overcome adversity, trauma and life altering stressors. You may clearly know what is bothering you or it may be deep in your unconscious, regardless, there needs to be a feeling. Whether the feeling is the desire for change or the awareness that you need help; it is the first step in your healing. The goal is to process the feelings that hold you back, thus freeing up space for positive memories, healthy coping, and self compassion.
I offer person centered therapy and client focused therapy. I follow your lead in what it is you need and together we create a plan that suits you. I work with children, youth and individuals. I specialize in EMDR with children; helping children towards processing their feelings and to learn healthy ways to communicate and cope in a directive approach.
Navigating life isn’t always easy. However, with the right supports and alliances in place you can navigate your life in a healthy content way. Sometimes external factors or deep feelings within can cause chaos or grief, in an already busy life. I can help you find space within yourself to make room for the happy and process the not so good.
