About Hayley
Since 2003 I’ve been working with children and teens who have special needs or learning challenges and in recent years, working with those who experience anxiety and depression. I enjoy working with individuals but also with families and helping the family unit to be unified, strong and healthy. Overall, I believe that a healthy, joyful person is best cultivated and achieved when there is a healthy and strong community and support network surrounding the individual. While 90% of my cliental are 19 year’s old or under, I do counsel adults, couples and families. (I very much enjoy working with adults!)
I have an M.A. in Educational Psychology from the University of Victoria and a B.A in Counseling Psychology. I’ve been a behavior interventionist since 2008, have been trained in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and psychological academic assessments and can participate in Individual Educational Plans (or help guide parents and families).
Starting from a place of empathy and compassion, the types of therapies offered include: person-centered, solution-focused, growth-mindset, CBT, behavioral intervention, and Christian Therapeutic approaches.
