About Isaac

The individuals I work with bring a wide range of challenges. These include managing difficult emotions such as anger and grief; interrupting disturbing, confusing, or stuck thinking; changing hard to control behaviours (e.g. addiction); and navigating relationship difficulties. I have pursued professional training in leading modalities for treating traumatic stress, including EMDR, Somatic Transformation, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and AEDP, among others. I brings this depth of training and experience to support individuals and couples navigating a wide range of concerns, from anxiety, depression, grief, and addiction; to relationship struggles, gender and sexuality questions, and the lasting effects of overwhelming and traumatic experiences.

I am active and direct, bringing a relaxed, non-judgmental energy to the work and creating conditions where clients can feel safe enough to be themselves and share openly. Working with me means being met as the expert in your own life, the person who knows your experience better than anyone, while benefiting from a therapist who brings genuine skill, focused attention, and real care to every session. I aim to balance ease and authenticity with purposeful attention, holding space for both the difficult and the joy-filled moments that real change can bring.

I am currently offering individual and couples sessions, online and in person. If what you’ve read here sounds like it could be what you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to connect via phone, email, or the online form on my website. I offer a free 15 minute phone call so you can be sure you’d like to book our first session.
