About Jessica

I welcome clients who seek a collaborative, non-judgmental process focused on addressing painful emotions and circumstances. We will address difficult relationship patterns, grieve unacceptable losses, and investigate ways to change hopelessly stuck situations. While I specialize in working with anxiety, stress, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions and complex grief, I welcome all clients who are seeking a therapist who is present, authentic, and comfortable in complex and hard-to-resolve situations (and who doesn’t sound like ChatGPT.)

I completed my MA in Counseling Psychology at Northwestern University. Since then, I’ve trained in and practiced utilizing a number of evidence-based modalities: DBT, DBT-PE, MST, EFFT, EFT, MI, and CBT. I’ve also engaged in psychoanalytic psychotherapy training, including completing a one year postgraduate program at New York’s Mitchell Center.

I also bring a history in queer and feminist academic and organizing work. My practice is rooted in the things that guided these pursuits: a commitment to interrupting cycles and systems of harm, a recognition of the value of diverse ways of being, and hope in the possibility of transformation. If you think we might be a good fit, please reach out.
