About Jessy
Jessy Lok, MA, RCC is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia.
Jessy believes that healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and understood. Her approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that every person holds the innate potential for resilience, growth, and transformation. She supports clients in navigating life’s challenges—including stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and the deeper search for meaning, clarity, and inner peace.
Her work is informed not only by professional training but also by her own personal journey of spiritual practice. In addition to evidence-based psychological approaches, Jessy offers Buddhist-informed counselling, weaving in mindfulness, loving-kindness meditation, the understanding of impermanence, and insight into the nature of suffering and liberation. Her approach is grounded in the view that healing is not only about relieving symptoms but also about cultivating inner peace, compassion, wisdom, and freedom.
Having been born in Canada and raised in Hong Kong, Jessy brings a deep sensitivity to cultural identity, immigration experiences, and the complexities of navigating life between cultures. She offers counselling in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and warmly welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
With deep respect for the power of wisdom and compassion, may this offering contribute to the easing of suffering, the fostering of understanding, and the emergence of inner peace in those who seek it.
