About Jolie

I am told I have a warm relational style that creates a welcoming environment where clients feel safe and seen. My hope is that the work of counselling therapy can be a transformative, comforting, and challenging spot to land during difficult circumstances. I have enjoyed the collaborative moments of insight into ongoing painful circumstances, and sharing a laugh despite mountainous difficulties.
I am an import to BC from Alberta and live happily in the Vancouver area for over 25 years. I have four children ranging in age from 15 – 21. As well, I am part of the adoptive parent community which has created a deep love and respect for the unique expression each family brings into the world.

I am a registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (#20400) and hold both a Bachelor of Religious Education and a Master of Counselling degree. I have over twenty-five years of experience working with children, youth, and families in mental health, non-profit, pastoral and social working roles.
