About Joshua
I provide trauma-informed, person-centred counselling for children, youth, adults, couples, families, and groups in the Vancouver Island area. My approach is grounded in authentic relationship, compassion, and respect for each person’s unique story. I support clients experiencing grief and bereavement, end-of-life, trauma, anxiety, depression, caregiver fatigue, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, and questions of identity, purpose, and meaning. My practice integrates evidence-informed approaches including person-centred therapy, narrative therapy, existential therapy, CBT, mindfulness, attachment-informed practice, and play-based interventions for children. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and culturally humble space where individuals—including Indigenous peoples and members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community—feel seen, respected, and supported in their journey toward healing and growth.
Please feel free to reach out and connect – it’d be a privilege to walk alongside you.
