About Kari

My experience as a Registered Clinical Counsellor has increased my passion to work with individuals struggling with trauma.

I attained my Master of Counselling in Counselling Psychology in 2016, although have worked since 2002 supporting individuals and families to navigate the uncertainty life brings. Over the years, I have enhanced my skillset to include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Emotion Focused Family Therapy into my practice. I also value Feedback Informed Treatment and Narrative Therapy as foundational modalities to understand and enhance clinical attunement.

In my work with clients, we explore how the past informs the present and creates opportunities for the future. We all have the capacity to heal. Counselling is an invitation to start the process.
