About Kate
I have spent my whole life navigating ways to make life a more satisfying place for people which is why I was drawn to focusing my work on wellness.
In my counselling practice, I work from a strength-based, compassionate, client-focused perspective, I believe that being heard can be an integral part of healing. This is what led me to experience working with women in, and leaving, abusive relationships and it provided a catalyst for me to pursue a counselling career and obtain my Masters in Counselling Psychology. I have since had the privilege of being invited to witness the lives of many people. People who have travelled journey’s with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, infertility, post-partum depression, relationship challenges, grief and loss.
I offer a compassionate, safe and non-judgemental environment for those I work alongside to share their challenges. I would describe myself as a “life-long learner” and I am constantly striving to improve my skills, training and knowledge-base so that I am better equipped to help my clients with whatever life presents.
