About Katrina

Hello,
My name is Katrina (she/her) MA, RCC, RCAT, SEP.
I specialize in supporting adults, teens and children who have lived through both historical and current adverse experiences, which may look like traumatic events, attachment ruptures, boundary breaches, a lack of attachment attunement etc…
I am trained in Somatic Experiencing, Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment, Brainspotting, Play and Art Therapy which allows me to provide a holistic range of modalities to support your nervous system vitality and wellbeing. My approach is collaborative, trauma informed, nervous system aware, attachment based and grounded in a strong belief in the power of the imagination, creativity and your body’s innate wisdom and ability to heal. In addition to providing one-on-one private online sessions to residents of BC I also provided online and in-person workshops on creating ‘Nervous System Aware’ workplaces at schools, non-profits and businesses. I practice four days a week as a trauma therapist at a local non-profit providing free therapy to the community and I also teach graduate level future art therapists at Adler University. I am available for supervision and consultations. I specialize in supporting art therapists and student art therapists in developing a strong nervous system aware/ trauma informed approach to their practice.

I believe deeply in our ability to heal and the resilience embedded within us all.
I understand the pain of grief, trauma and stuckness and I am here to walk along side you as you move from a survival state into a more spacious place of thriving.
