About Kaye
Kaye Frost-Hunt, MA, RCC
BCACC #3501 | EMDR Psychotherapist | LENS Provider
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals, couples, first responders, and families. My practice is endorsed at the Silver Level by the British Columbia Professional Firefighters Association (BCPFFA) and is recognized in the BC First Responder Health Directory as an Occupationally Aware Clinician.
My Approach
I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. My therapeutic style is collaborative, supportive, and focused on fostering resilience, self-awareness, and growth. With over two decades of experience, I create a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore challenges, process emotions, and achieve meaningful change.
I integrate techniques from EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process trauma and reduce emotional distress, and LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback Systems) to improve mental clarity, reduce stress, and support emotional regulation. Whether you’re addressing past traumas, navigating relationship struggles, or seeking to enhance your emotional well-being, I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs and goals.
Areas of Focus
* Individual Counselling: Support for anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and stress management.
* Couples Counselling: Helping couples improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their connection.
* Trauma Therapy: Specialized care for processing life-changing events and building resilience.
* First Responders and Families: Occupationally aware support for those facing unique professional challenges.
Why Choose Me?
My clients appreciate my empathetic approach, practical tools, and dedication to creating a path forward that feels clear and achievable. I focus on your strengths, values, and aspirations to help you find clarity, connection, and balance in your life.
If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and growth, I’m here to help. Together, we’ll work to create a life that feels less complicated and more fulfilling.
