About Kelsey
Kelsey aims to create a collaborative and compassionate space where clients feel supported and empowered to navigate challenges, heal, and foster meaningful change. She approaches therapy with curiosity, humility, and nonjudgment, drawing on evidence-based modalities, including Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Self-Compassion Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, all through a trauma-informed lens.
Kelsey holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria and has experience working with diverse populations in university counselling settings, mental health case management, inpatient addiction care, and most recently, private practice. Her areas of focus include life transitions, relationships, anxiety, depression, Autism, ADHD, mental health, and affirming care for 2SLGBTQIA+ clients.
As a therapist, Kelsey values the therapeutic relationship and the unique qualities each individual brings to the process. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, swimming, cooking, yoga, and spending time with her life partner and their elderly (yet spirited) cat, Fergus.
