About Kelsey
The way I see it, counselling is a journey we take together. My role is to be with you on that journey – to uncover what is at the root of your distress, to explore the old patterns you may still be holding onto, and to focus on your strengths and resiliency moving forward. Many people struggle with mental and emotional health. Be it trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, or simply a sense of not being fully alive; you are not alone. You are not the only one suffering and struggling. You are not the only one feeling disconnected from your true self. I work with both adults and teens in an individual capacity. And I am here to support you.
I am passionate about supporting individuals to live in greater alignment with their true selves. Throughout our lives, we receive messages that influence the ways we perceive ourselves. I am committed to helping you explore the beliefs and expectations that no longer serve you to discern who you really are, and want to become.
I have a Masters in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria, and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC. Much of my background is specialized in working with trauma, particularly childhood trauma, and anxiety.
I offer both in-person and virtual sessions (either online using video call platforms or via phone). My fee is $150 per 60-minute session + tax.
If this feels like the right fit for you, please get in touch. I am happy to offer a free twenty-minute consultation online, via phone, or in person. It is important that you find a counsellor that you feel comfortable working with, so I am here to answer any questions you have. I look forward to connecting with you. You can reach me directly at [email protected] or book a consult session through the calendar on my website – www.kelseymech.com
