About Lindsay
IN PERSON, ONLINE, AND TELEHEALTH COUNSELLING AVAILABLE. I thrive within the capacity of client centered treatment methods which encompass a non-judgmental approach, rich in both compassion and empathy. I am extremely passionate about trauma informed methodologies, and incorporate Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy into my practice.
My areas of interest include trauma (recent and historical), trauma as it pertains to the mind/body connection, sexual assault, abuse, intimate partner violence, codependency, addictions, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and grief. I am a strong advocate within the anti-violence sector and have previously represented the Okanagan (Region 6) as a provincial board member for the Ending Violence Association of British Columbia (EVA BC).
