About Linnea

I view counselling as a collaboration where we can work together to help you feel empowered in leveraging your own strengths and resources. I’m interested in really getting to know who you are – to build a real relationship together where you feel heard, validated, and supported in navigating your inner and outer experiences.

Foremost, I take a trauma-informed and holistic approach in my work, aiming to take into account the range of factors that influence your circumstances and how you show up in the world. Part of my goal is for us to come up with strategies that are helpful for you specifically – ones that make sense given your context.

I’d also like to acknowledge that I’ve faced my own hardship – as a trauma-survivor, I know what it�s like to struggle, and also know what it�s like to be on a healing path. I�ve attended counselling myself over the years (and still continue to!), so I can appreciate how difficult, healing, messy, rewarding, and worthwhile it can be.

My lived experiences have both led me and lent themselves to my work as a counsellor. I feel honoured and grateful to be able to do work in which I can connect with others and offer support in their healing.
