About Maitreyi
Hi, I’m Maitreyi, a bicultural, first-generation settler and Registered Clinical Counsellor dedicated to supporting your healing journey with warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for your lived experience. My own path through anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and transgenerational colonial trauma has shaped my practice, which centers your resilience, wisdom, and strengths.
I offer a collaborative, client-centered space grounded in intersectional feminism, social justice, and decolonizing frameworks. Recognizing that trauma and struggles are intertwined with systemic oppression, I work from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed lens to help you reclaim your identity, culture, and autonomy. Together, we’ll explore your story, dissect societal narratives, and nurture your authentic self—away from dominant cultural pressures.
In our sessions, you’ll lead the way while I hold space for both your pain and your power. My Low-cost sessions are priced at $95, while regular sessions are $150. I offer a free 20-minute consultation to see if I am a good fit for you.
