About Meena

I have a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I have over 15 years of experience working with children and teens with school and learning-related issues such as ADHD, anger, anxiety, grief, selective mutism, negative self-concept, and disordered eating to name a few. In my private practice, I work with children, youth, adults and couples dealing with a variety of issues, including attachment, trauma, grief etc., that may be manifesting as depression, anger, anxiety, loneliness, relationship issues, alcoholism, low self-confidence, negative self-concept, disordered eating, insomnia, etc.
I approach counselling from an attachment and trauma-informed lens. I have training and experience using various therapeutic approaches, including Narrative, Cognitive Behavioural, Play, and Art therapy. I hold myself to high ethical standards and aim to create a safe, informed, and supportive environment for individuals from all walks of life.
I offer service through a secure online platform and by phone.
My session rates range from $60 -150, depending on the length of the session.
Initial 30 min consultation is free.
I provide services in Punjabi and Hindi as well.
