Hello, I appreciate your time in considering me as your counsellor.

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, my practice is guided through a trauma-focused lens, meeting clients where they are at in a person-centered, humanistic counselling manner. I work with clients of all ages, and my specialties include play/art therapy with youth, helping people with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, or relationship/family challenges. I integrate a variety of counselling approaches (modalities), and incorporate aspects of mindfulness and somatic (body) awareness.

My goal is to meet you or your loved one where you or they are at – from a place of compassion and nonjudgmental understanding. I aim to assist my clients in increasing their inner capacity to find a holistic balance and to find a steady direction towards reaching their mental health goals. Life has many ups and downs and I understand how difficult it may be to reach out for assistance when life is presenting its biggest challenges.

Youth clients, in particular, are invited to engage in counselling through the inclusion of play therapy with art, music, time in nature, or other engaging activities.

I have over 10 years experience in assisting children, teens, and families as they process experiences of grief and loss, crisis situations, navigate teen and early adolescent developmental years, and learn to understand and embrace neurodiversity.
