About Paula

Paula is a registered clinical counsellor and approved clinical supervisor (RCC-ACS) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). She is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), the Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance (CADDRA), and the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention (CASP). She earned a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling and Psychological Studies from Regent University.

She uses evidence-based approaches such as Brief Solution-Focused (BSF), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MCBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through an anti-oppressive, culturally-sensitive, and trauma-informed lens. She is versed in serving neurodivergent, immigrants, BIPOC, LGBTQ2SIA+, survivors of human/labor trafficking, and individuals with developmental/physical disabilities.
