About Paulina

Are you feeling lost or stuck? Is your anxiety and/ or depression taking over your life? Calm Mind Counselling is here to help. Counselling is a private and personal experience, each person is different. As your counsellor I will support and encourage you in gaining the change and control you want over your life.

– Extensive experience and education (15 plus years): Indigenous (First Nation, Metis and Inuit) theory. As well as trauma work with veterans and RCMP members.
– I utilize evidence-based therapies involving body, mind, and spirit for a whole-person integrated approach to wellness.

– Mental Health Provider for the Short-Term Crisis Intervention Program (STCIP) with First Nations Health Authority (FNHA)
– Registered provider for the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP)
– Experience working with children, youth and adults
– Graduate degree obtained from University of Victoria
– Extensive training: CBT, DBT, psychodynamic theory, EMDR (training in progress)
