About Rachael

Welcome! This is a space where your unique experiences are heard, validated, and held without judgment. Here, you get to come just as you are.

I work with adults of all ages, backgrounds and identities, offering a person-centred, compassion-focused, collaborative space for healing and self-discovery. Empathetic support is provided, fostering a deeper understanding of very real and very human experiences, such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, emotional regulation, chronic pain, injuries, identity issues, life transitions, adverse religious experiences, childhood trauma, relationship issues, and family conflicts.

My approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems and guided by self-compassion, inspired by Kristin Neff. I draw from attachment theory, inner child work, ACT, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.

Pain, trauma, grief, and other issues are explored with compassionate curiosity and acceptance so that they can be witnessed and understood more deeply. I engage with you relationally, creating an authentic and collaborative connection that feels safe and open for you to work on the issues you want support with. I sometimes laugh, get teary, or sit in silence with you, always holding a safe, supportive space for your healing.

I practice with the belief that as compassion for all our parts, experiences and Self grow, we soften and are more likely to navigate through life with a sense of worthiness, making values-based decisions with greater confidence, and propelling ourselves forward into more authentic ways of being with ourselves, others, and the world.

I look forward to connecting with you!
