About Rachel

Rachel is a Registered Psychologist (Alberta) and a Registered Clinical Counsellor (BC). She is the founder and director of a group therapy practice in rural Alberta, called Wheatland County Counselling. Her practice has provided thousands of counselling sessions in two previously underserved communities in Alberta, many of them at a subsidized cost, through advocacy efforts and strategic partnerships.

Rachel is currently working primarily in Alberta as a Psychologist and online with clients from BC as an RCC. She provides very occasional satellite services in Golden, BC but the majority of her BC clients see her online, or travel to her Strathmore, AB office for intensive therapy.

Rachel is a Certified Trauma Practitioner, a Certified Play Therapist, trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and is at the leading edge of training and research in psychedelic assisted psychotherapy. She is an experienced clinical supervisor, psychology consultant, and entrepreneur.

Rachel enjoys reading, project development, training and research in her downtime. She considers herself a lifelong learner dedicated to helping others heal their hurts.
