About Rene

Hope Matters Counselling Service provides compassionate, empathic counselling dedicated to enhancing quality of life and wellbeing for individuals struggling with significant life issues. General areas of clinical practice with special interest in mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression, chronic illness, and grief and loss. Hope Matters has been in operation since January 2007. Hope Matters worked for 10 years as an Approved Recovery Provider with ICBC assisting individuals in their recovery from motor vehicle accidents, and for 13 years working with several EAP programs.

Hope Matters offers clinical supervision and/or consultation for counsellors new to private practice and for students completing their counselling degrees.
