About Richard
My belief in the tremendous value of counselling and psychotherapy emerges from personal experiences of early abandonment, trauma, substance abuse and child loss. I believe, as research supports, that creating a safe therapeutic relationship so that you feel heard, connected and understood is essential to the process of meaningful change. My stance with you is to consider the often deep underlying issues that manifest in problems today and explore new ways of understanding both your inner self and these problems with the goal of sustainable and life-long change.
I specialize in: Addictions and Recovery, Male issues, Relationships, Trauma, Chronic Illness,, Anxiety and Depression, Life change and direction, Grief and Loss, Parenting and fatherhood
