About Rosalind

Roz Smith is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology. She has 16 years experience working in multiple roles as a chaplain, elementary and high school counsellor, Indigenous counsellor, and clinical counsellor in private practice.

Roz is a Certified Grief Counsellor, is certified with the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) and works with clients who have experienced religious abuse.

Roz has lived in Fort St. John for over 50 years and believes our lives often resemble the seasons of this beautiful area – always changing and sometimes challenging. She believes it is a privilege to be able to walk beside you on your journey to awareness and healing.

Roz is honoured to live and work in Treaty 8 Territory, home to many First Nations, Metis and Inuit and respects the culture and history of those whose traditions were established long ago. The legacy of the Peace Country provides hope for future generations to continue to live and work side by side, growing stronger together.
