A Little Bit About Me
I am often told that I have the ability to find hope in what seems hopeless. Feeling heard and being understood without judgment are often integral steps toward significant change. During my 30+ years in the public mental health field, I have learned that most people can work through challenges, yet at times, we benefit from being reminded of our strengths and what we need and deserve in order to thrive as unique individuals.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) through the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), member number 16498. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy), CBT 0Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused, Strength Based and Narrative Therapy.
