Do you find yourself worrying all the time or constantly feeling stressed and anxious? Are you choosing unhealthy ways to cope or have your needs met? Perhaps your thoughts keep you awake at night and it’s difficult to function or relax. If you are tired of feeling this way, I understand. This type of stress and worry can disrupt your day making it difficult to cope, make good decisions and enjoy life. You may even be making choices that sabotage your success and don’t understand why you are repeating them. Please trust that you are not alone and that together, we can cultivate increased understanding, gentleness, peace and freedom.

A Little Bit About Me

I am often told that I have the ability to find hope in what seems hopeless. Feeling heard and being understood without judgment are often integral steps toward significant change. During my 30+ years in the public mental health field, I have learned that most people can work through challenges, yet at times, we benefit from being reminded of our strengths and what we need and deserve in order to thrive as unique individuals.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) through the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), member number 16498. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy), CBT 0Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused, Strength Based and Narrative Therapy.

I welcome you to contact me for a free half hour consult so you can assess whether or not I am a good fit for your needs. Please visit my website at www.MentalBlocks.net or call me at 250-883-6919.

I look forward to hearing from you
