About Shaeden

Having worked with youth and families for over 20
years in a counselling role, I am now expanding my
practice to include clinical supervision. In my career, I
have worked with youth, adults, and multi-stressed
families in a variety of ways: practical support, systems
navigation, child protection strategies, 1:1 and/or
family counselling, as well as a considerable amount of
therapeutic group work.

I practice from a feminist perspective, and embrace
the theoretical foundations of Carl Rogers. My vision as
a clinical supervisor is to support your professional
development, and to collaboratively encourage and
expand growth in your career trajectory, while
exploring the limitations and challenges that arise in
the context that you find yourself working in. To foster
development and change, I will focus on your strength
areas, intentionally explore where you practice with
confidence, help you consider areas of challenge, and
offer constructive feedback when requested.
