This presentation aims to increase our understanding and awareness about suicide:
- addressing what it means,
- why some people experience thoughts of suicide,
- and how we can all help support people who may be struggling.
The session covers a broad overview of potential signs of distress, risk factors, and ways to support others compassionately. Attendees will learn what actions to take if they’re concerned about someone, the importance of open conversations, and how to access local and national support services. No specialized background needed. Just a willingness to learn and be part of a caring community.
