About the Role
The Clinical Director provides clinical and operational leadership to ensure high-quality, ethical, and culturally safe care aligned with British Columbia regulatory requirements and the needs of Indigenous communities we serve. This is a hybrid leadership role combining supervision, program management and organization leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision in alignment with BCACC, CCPA, and relevant regulatory standards
- Ensure excellence in client care, treatment planning, documentation, and outcomes
- Lead ethical practice and compliance with BC regulations (Health Professions Act, PIPA)
- Develop and audit policies, conduct chart reviews, and support risk management
- Advanced Indigenous cultural safety, humility, and anti-colonial practice
- Build respectful relationships with local Indigenous communities
- Support clinicians in delivering trauma-informed, culturally grounded care
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and development of professionals, interns and students
- Foster a psychologically safe, inclusive, and collaborative workplace
- Support operational effectiveness including intake, scheduling, and clinical workflows
- Use data and KPIs to improve access, retention, and client outcomes
- Develop and expand programs aligned with community needs
- Represent the clinic in professional and community settings
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Registered and in good standing with a BC regulatory body (e.g., RCC-ACS, RSW, Psychologist)
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience and at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Demonstrated experience working with or alongside Indigenous communities is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed, evidence-based therapies (e.g., CBT, EMDR)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

- Flexible hybrid work arrangements with one day a week in Sooke Nation, and at least one day a week one of our offices located in Sooke and Colwood
- Annual salary $94,000 to $110 ($60 – $70 / hr) plus extended benefits
