Andrea Curran

Andrea came to BCACC in 2008 after a tenure with BC’s Ministry of Health, first as the Registration Coordinator and then as the Executive Coordinator before moving into her current role as Manager of HR and Administration. Andrea is pursuing her CPHR and CAE designations as a dedicated human resources professional. She provides exceptional value and support to the Head Office team by doggedly working to provide the answers people seek. Outside of BCACC, Andrea has a passion for motorcycle riding (she calls it ‘wind therapy’), is a true crime enthusiast, and is a curious lifelong learner.

Janice Joyce

Janice comes to BCACC with a professional background originally in nursing and a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University. With more than 18 years of experience working for a large BC Health Regulator, Janice has coordinated and managed several significant projects related to regulatory program development and administration, as well as the development and delivery of a host of educational activities related to professional regulation in BC, for variety of stakeholder audiences.

Having lived experience in the complexities of preparing for regulatory change and reform, Janice was drawn to working with BCACC’s Regulatory Modernization and Registration teams and the opportunity to return to her roots working with a smaller organization beginning its regulatory journey. She strongly believes in an atmosphere of collaboration and the opportunity to learn from each other and everything we do, even if we fail on occasion; one that celebrates success, role models respect, openness, and accountability, embraces challenge and change, and pursues professional excellence.
